Welcome to the Zonta Club of Cleveland! We are celebrating 91 years of service to women in the Northeast Ohio Area. Our mission is to “Advance the Status of Women Worldwide,” and we do this by volunteering our time, talents and money to local and international service projects. Our projects are aimed at furthering women’s education, leadership and youth development.
The Zonta Club of Cleveland is a proud member of Zonta International, founded in 1919. As a global organization of executives and professionals, we work together to bring women’s advocacy issues to public attention. We encourage you to explore our Web site to learn more about our organization, philosophies, values and service programs and how you can help this important cause.
Zonta International and The Zonta Club of Cleveland seek to:
- Improve the legal, political, economic, health, educational and professional status of women through service and advocacy;
- Work for the advancement of understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of executives in business and the professions;
- Promote justice and universal respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms;
- Be united internationally to foster high ethical standards, implement service programs, and provide mutual support and fellowship for members who serve their communities, their nations and the world.
